Roger Cornforth retired from Swaab on 30 June 2026, after 45 years practising in Law Firms in Sydney.

While Roger has stepped back from the day-to-day management of legal matters, he is still very pleased to hear from people he has worked with along the way.

Roger has always practised in Sydney’s central business district. He began his legal career with Tress Cocks & Maddox. He then spent time in-house with Beneficial Finance Corporation before returning to practice with Lane & Lane Lawyers. Nearly three decades with Holman Webb followed. From 2020 he practised with Swaab, retiring from the firm on 30 June 2026.

Throughout his career, Roger built a reputation as a trusted advisor to individuals, families and family-owned businesses. Many of his clients have stayed with him for decades and many became friends.

Roger remains involved with Northern Suburbs Rugby Club and is the Honorary Solicitor of the Mosman Cricket Club.
